Is Mindanao Philippines ready for another Hollywood film shooting? Which area or areas in Mindanao can easily be a great location for the next big Hollywood movie? I can't help but think about these after I read that Jeremy Renner, Rachel Weisz and a couple of other Hollywood actors and actresses are set to arrive in Manila, Philippines early next year for the shooting of "The Bourne Legacy." According to the Film Development Council of the Philippines, "Bourne Legacy" will shoot scenes in Manila, Philippines by January 2012. The movie is set for release sometime August 2012. Lanzones Festival is celebrated yearly in the beautiful island paradise that is Camiguin Island, Mindanao, Philippines! Well if you're a regular reader of this Mindanaoan.com blog, you'd probably know that I'm a frequent visitor of Resorts World Manila, that entertainment, food, shopping destination and luxury hotel complex right across the new Ninoy Aquino International Airport 3 (NAIA 3). There are a lot of reasons why I like Resorts World Manila a lot but I guess the best one would be the fact that I had one ultra amazing night there before and the results of that lucky night helped me and my Mom spend our first ever mother-daughter Valentine's Day celebration in Singapore and my entire family (me, my Mom and 3 younger brothers) spend a few glorious days in Hong Kong and Macau :) Yep, I only have fun memories about Resorts World Manila! Color Me Badd. All 4 One. I literally waited decades before it happened. And when it finally did, I forgot all the questions that I wanted to ask All 4 One and Color Me Badd for the longest time. I just simply enjoyed every moment I spent with them, did not hesitate to let them know that I was a certified fan, became their self-appointed paparazzi for the day, screamed at the top of my lungs, danced onstage (gulp!) and told them again and again just how loved they all were, still are and always will be! Review: Movenpick Resort and Spa Mactan Cebu

A few days ago, Airphil Express invited me to join their Cebu to Hong Kong maiden flight. Since I had to be in Cebu City a day prior, the friendly folks from Airphil Express flew me from Mindanao to Cebu and sponsored my stay at the spanking Movenpick Resort and Spa in Mactan, Cebu. My third trip to Hong Kong happened just a few days ago, thanks to Airphil Express. I love coming back to Hong Kong! Apart from the fact that we Filipinos don't need a visa to enter Hong Kong, this top Asian food and shopping destination always offers new and exciting things to do and discover for tourists. Hong Kong has a super efficient transport system, offers fascinating food, has a number of picture-perfect tourist spots and irresistible shopping sales! Amid other big news today, the reported resignation of Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri was the most talked about. A lot of people shared their reactions to the news that the senator from Bukidnon and fellow Mindanaoan Senator Migs Zubiri will resign amid allegations of poll fraud claims. Mindanaoan wrote a blog post about this earlier. As I previously mentioned, I called up some key people from the Zubiri camp. I also even contacted Senator Migs Zubiri himself. Look where Airphil Express is taking Mindanaoan!

A few days ago, this blogger in Mindanao received an invitation from Airphil Express.
