Only one Mindanaoan made it to the coveted list of the senatorial candidates who will receive the support of the reported 5-million strong Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC). Incumbent Bukidnon 2nd District Congressman Teofisto "TG" Guingona III, who's currently gunning for a senatorial seat under the banner of the Liberal Party, is the lone Mindanaoan who's set to receive votes from INC. INC is reportedly the biggest religious sect in the country that observes bloc voting. Reportedly, non-compliance to the voting preference of the leadership is considered a sin that is punishable by expulsion. First off, a lot of people in Bukidnon, Mindanao claim that this isn't exactly fresh news. However, I guess this issue involving Bukidnon Gov. Jose Ma. Zubiri, Jr. and ex-Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Teen housemate Claire Cabeguin (who's from Bukidnon herself) will continue to be controversial and will forever be circulated unless, most probably, if one of them either speaks up against or confirms the issue. Zubiri, Jr. and political archrival JR Nereus "Neric" Acosta MAY soon sing sweet music together. This, after Zubiri is reportedly eyeing a "transfer" to the Liberal Party from LAKAS-CMD-KAMPI. I, Mindanaoan, was finally able to "introduce" my mom to the renowned Roadhouse Cafe baby back ribs. I say renowned because a lot of foodies and food experts have already given their thumbs up on the baby back ribs served at Roadhouse Cafe. Roadhouse Cafe serves Asian and Western cuisine. Its first and original branch can be found along Sayre Highway (national highway), Valencia City, Bukidnon, Mindanao. It now has a second branch at SM City Cagayan de Oro. Cagayan de Oro is roughly 2 and a half hours away from Valencia City. Reasonably priced, Roadhouse Cafe's baby back ribs tastes a bit sweet and tangy.
