Taters Centrio Ayala Mall opening promo

It's rare that I don't bring a Taters product whenever I watch a movie at an Ayala mall. To watch a film without delicious munchies from Taters is just not the same. That's why I'm really glad that Taters is now in Cagayan de Oro City! Taters CDO is set to open on November 9, 2012 at Centrio Mall. Centrio, as you may all know by now, is the Ayala Mall in CDO. Taters Centrio is located at the 3rd floor of the Ayala Centrio Mall. There you can find a smorgasbord of yummy snacks and munchies - popcorn, fries, hotdogs, chips, nachos (MY FAVE!), fish fillet, burgers, onion rings and sandwiches. And here's good news for the first 100 customers of Taters CDO at Centrio Mall - for a minimum purchase of Php 200.00, you get a FREE Churkey Burger! (This I gotta try!) See you all at Taters...

Classic Savory SM Cagayan de Oro

I will make this Classic Savory SM CDO review short. This Mindanao lifestyle blogger ate at Classic Savory SM Cagayan de Oro last weekend. I brought along some blogger-friends and told them that Classic Savory is pretty popular in Manila. Disclosure: paid for the food and this is NOT a sponsored post. Introduced in 1950 by the Ting brothers, Classic Savory opened its 50th branch in SM City Cagayan de Oro. Before anything else, please allow me to quickly offer you guys 3 reasons as to why you should come and visit Happy Eggs CDO: 1. their "silog" meals all have TWO EGGS cooked just the way you like them! (sunny side up, scrambled etc) 2. the price points are really very affordable (their baconsilog, for instance, is only Php 70! Review: Lord Byron’s Back Ribs Grill

Tucked away at Aluba, Upper Macasandig, Cagayan de Oro City, Mindanao, Lord Byron's Back Ribs Grill CDO is the first ever Mindanao branch of this Bacolod restaurant. I'm not sure if setting up shop at Aluba is a good decision (since it's far from the city proper and from the malls i.e. where the "action" usually is) but I'm sure of one thing --- a trip to Lord Byron's Back Ribs Grill Cagayan de Oro is worth your time, effort and money. Review: Max’s Restaurant CDO

I have a strange love affair with Max's Restaurant Cagayan de Oro City, Mindanao branch. My family and I used to be regular customers when the Max's Restaurant CDO branch was still in Divisoria. I even wrote about one of their promos before. I also used to treat a lot of my Public Relations clients there before. I also organized a few political events in their function rooms. However, after I read this negative feedback about Max's Cagayan de Oro by a CDO Blogger, I decided to stay away, lest that I myself would experience the same poor service. What happened between Max's Restaurant and the CDO Bloggers was a shame, really. I do know that the CDO Bloggers President then already issued an official response. Golden Cowrie restaurant at Limketkai Center, Cagayan de Oro

Finally had the chance to treat my mom and brothers to the newly opened Golden Cowrie Native Restaurant located at the Rosario Arcade, Limketkai Center, Cagayan de Oro City, Mindanao. This Golden Cowrie CDO branch is a franchise and the first outside Cebu, where Golden Cowrie started in 1982. I'm actually a regular customer at the original Golden Cowrie restaurant along Salinas Drive, Lahug, Cebu City (just a few blocks away from Waterfront Lahug) and I often bring my PR clients there for meetings or small press conferences. In fact, a few weeks before the May 2010 elections, I organized mini press briefings there for three senatorial candidates (all of whom were my clients --- I provided public relations, events, media and marketing services to them).
