It's official, folks! :) I have been chosen by the U.S. Department of State to visit the United States of America as a participant in the International Visitor Leadership Program or IVLP. I will leave for the U.S. on March 3, 2012 and will stay there until the first week of April 2012 :) Actually, the program that I will be a part of will only run for 3 weeks but I plan to stay a bit more to savor the sights and sounds of the USA. During the 3-week program, I will visit Washington, Orlando Florida, Salt Lake City Utah and Portland Oregon. Are you a runner? Are you an avid running enthusiast? There's a running event in Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines that you may just be interested in! This CDO running event is set to benefit Typhoon Sendong victims. The Sendong Run For A Home event is set to take place on January 28, 2012, 6 PM at SM City CDO. There will be two categories - 2K and 5K. Registration fee is only Php 200.00 and ALL registration fees will be donated to the "Give A Home Project." Coach Rio Dela Cruz will be there! Is Mindanao Philippines ready for another Hollywood film shooting? Which area or areas in Mindanao can easily be a great location for the next big Hollywood movie? Color Me Badd. All 4 One. I literally waited decades before it happened. And when it finally did, I forgot all the questions that I wanted to ask All 4 One and Color Me Badd for the longest time. Surigao del Norte to hold Lubi Lubi Dance Festival 2011 and skimboarding cup

Following the successful Bonok Bonok Festival 2011, here's another event in Surigao that you guys might want to watch out for. The Provincial Government of Surigao del Norte and Bacuag Mayor Sheila Mae O. Cebedo, in cooperation with the Department of Tourism and other government agencies, are holding the 2nd Lubi Lubi Dance Festival 2011. The 2011 Lubi Lubi Dance Festival will be held on October 7, 2011 at Bacuag, Surigao del Norte, Mindanao, Philippines. Meanwhile, from October 5 to 7, 2011, there will also be a skimboarding competition in Bacuag. The 5th National Skim Boarding Competition will be held at Z-Bay Wall, Bacuag, Surigao del Norte. Twenty year old Neil Etheridge, that 6'3" handsome goalkeeper of the Azkals, is the newest endorser of Folded and Hung. Neil Etheridge, who has a Briton for a father (Martin) and a Filipina from Tarlac for a mother (Merlinda), is also a goalkeeper in Fulham, England. Amid other big news today, the reported resignation of Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri was the most talked about. It was the day I've been waiting for. To finally watch our very own Philippine National Football Team AZKALS play against another team LIVE! It finally happened last July 3, 2011 at Rizal Memorial Football Stadium in Manila, Philippines. And I even had a Pilipinas Futbol Azkals shirt on to boot!
