Here's a quick update to my previous post about the 10th anniversary celebration of Citihardware CDO. I was tapped as the event manager for Citi Hardware Cagayan de Oro 10th Anniversary celebration. That was my second project for Citihardware CDO. The first one was during the opening of its Citihardware Bulua branch. The Citihardware CDO 10th anniversary event was held at its newest and by far the second largest Citihardware outlet in the entire country - Citihardware Tablon (the largest one remains to be its Davao head office). One of the things that model, endorser, blogger, photography enthusiast and entrepreneur Borgy Manotoc and I talked about during his recent visit here in Mindanao was his latest baby --- Dr. Martens Philippines. Borgy's face practically lit up as soon as I asked him about the upcoming opening of Doc Martens Philippines --- you can really tell that he's very excited about his latest project. When my family and I built a new house last year, our contractor only went to one place for all the construction materials, fixtures, tiles and floor covers, electricals etc - CitiHardware. Citihardware is a depot-type of retail outlet and it carries everything that you need for the home. Truth be told, I myself like going to a Citihardware branch even if I don't really need anything immediately. Coffee Dream SM Cagayan de Oro is coffee heaven

I love coffee and I like staying in coffee shops. In Cebu, one of my favorite coffee shops is Coffee Dream. I often stay at their Ayala Cebu branch - the one at the 4th floor -, at their SM Cebu branch - the one within the old mall, fronting VECO - and during recent Cebu City visits, their booth at the Traveler's Lounge, also located at SM. Now THIS is an airport! Top Filipino designer Kenneth Cobonpue has just revealed the proposed Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal I design! And all I can say is --- absolutely gorgeous! By the looks of it, the proposed NAIA 1 design may even rival Singapore's Changi Terminal! Changi Terminal remains to be my favorite airport but if this Kenneth Cobonpue NAIA 1 design pushes through, I might have a new fave soon! Kenneth Cobonpue, through his official Facebook account, has revealed the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 Rehabilitation and Renovation plan. I have a strange love affair with Max's Restaurant Cagayan de Oro City, Mindanao branch. My family and I used to be regular customers when the Max's Restaurant CDO branch was still in Divisoria. I even wrote about one of their promos before. I also used to treat a lot of my Public Relations clients there before. I also organized a few political events in their function rooms. However, after I read this negative feedback about Max's Cagayan de Oro by a CDO Blogger, I decided to stay away, lest that I myself would experience the same poor service. Is Mindanao Philippines ready for another Hollywood film shooting? Which area or areas in Mindanao can easily be a great location for the next big Hollywood movie? I can't help but think about these after I read that Jeremy Renner, Rachel Weisz and a couple of other Hollywood actors and actresses are set to arrive in Manila, Philippines early next year for the shooting of "The Bourne Legacy." How fast time flies! It's now October and that means one thing --- it's Lanzones Festival time! Lanzones Festival is celebrated yearly in the beautiful island paradise that is Camiguin Island, Mindanao, Philippines! This year, the Camiguin Lanzones Festival 2011 celebration will kick off on October 16, 2011. The Camiguin Island Lanzones Festival 2011 schedule of activities can be found below. Camiguin Island remains to be one of my most favorite places to go in Mindanao --- heck, it's one of my most favorite places to go period! It's a pretty island that has a lot of flora and fauna and of course, Mantigue Island and White Island are just amazing. Blue green waters, white sand, barely anyone else on the island......

Color Me Badd. All 4 One. I literally waited decades before it happened. And when it finally did, I forgot all the questions that I wanted to ask All 4 One and Color Me Badd for the longest time. I just simply enjoyed every moment I spent with them, did not hesitate to let them know that I was a certified fan, became their self-appointed paparazzi for the day, screamed at the top of my lungs, danced onstage (gulp!) and told them again and again just how loved they all were, still are and always will be! And - get this - I spent time again with them a few days later, got autographs and a special video message from All 4 One and Color Me Badd for all my beloved readers!
