So I've finally visited TIM HO WAN Manila! I've been seeing a lot of photos of Tim Ho Wan's Manila restaurants plus their uber popular baked buns with pork BBQ (char siu) filling. TAPS, a famous local restaurant in Davao City, Philippines best known for their silog meals and is open 24/7, has a warning especially for table hoggers. A table hogger is a person who either spreads his work or bags and other stuff across a table (and therefore discourages other customers to use or share the table) or a person who orders one item (usually the cheapest on the menu even!) and stays at a table practically for several hours! I'm sure everyone has spotted a table hogger at one time or another. I guess TAPS Davao gets a lot of these table hoggers since they're open 24/7. When I was in New York City, USA in 2012, one of the things I did was visit the iconic Apple store along 5th Avenue (and have my photo taken in front of the incredible glass cube) and buy my own iPad 2 (it was a big thing then!). My experience at that store was very nice and that was a memory that continued to linger. Php 250 Million Seven Seas Waterpark in Opol, Misamis Oriental

Mindanao is again setting the bar in terms of tourism. A world-class waterpark will soon open in this Southern part of the Philippines! When finished, the Php 250 Million Seven Seas Waterpark will, undoubtedly, be Mindanao's biggest tourism attraction in recent years. Seven Seas Waterpark and Resort, located at Barangay Barra, Opol, Misamis Oriental, is owned by businessman Elpidio Paras of Dahilayan Adventure Park and PARASAT Cable TV fame. TigerAir launches Manila – CDO flight route, lowest fare at Php 1518

This Mindanao blogger was at the Tigerair Manila to CDO inaugural flight a few days ago, thanks to the invitation from Tigerair. Tigerair, which formed an alliance with Cebu Pacific Air, is the latest budget airline to offer Manila to Cagayan de Oro and CDO to Manila flights. Islands Souvenirs is set to open two stores in Cagayan de Oro in the next few weeks. Best known as the Philippines' top brand for souvenir items, Islands Souvenirs is actually making a comeback of sorts in CDO. They first opened a branch in the 90's.
