My most favorite Philippine festival is right around the corner – Kadayawan Festival 2010 in my beautiful hometown Davao City, Mindanao! And what better way to kick things off than checking out the Kadayawan 2010 Fiesta at the Apo View Hotel?
The Apo View Hotel, one of Davao’s finest hotels, again pays tribute to Davao’s artistic, cultural and historical heritage via the Kadayawan Fiesta Week:
The merriment, bounties of Mother Nature, richness of culture and gifts of bountiful harvest can be felt at The Apo View.
Catch the cultural and dance performances at the main premises of the Apo View Hotel.
Witness the weaving of Dagmay Fabric by a true member of Mandayan Tribe.
See the ethnic inspired fashion creations of Davao’s Top Homegrown Designers.
See the fruits of our harvest and flowers in full bloom at the Lobby’s Floral Exhibit and Fruit Display.
Enjoy and listen to the music and dances of the Makalayang Anak Ensemble – Anak Kalinaw showcasing ritual dances of the Davao Tribe.
See the mesmerizing twirling of burning flames as Katribu perform a spectacular Fire Dancing.
Savor the taste of Davao’s indigenous cuisine and delicacies at the Entrée and Café Josefina.
Visit the showcase of indigenous products, fresh fruits and delectable delicacies at the Kadayawan Garden Bazaar at the Apo View’s Garden patio.
So, really, there’s no reason NOT for you to visit The Apo View!
The Kadayawan Fiesta 2010 will run from August 16 to 22, 2010.
The Apo View is one of Davao City’s finest hotels. Located along J. Camus Street, it’s right beside the People’s Park (one of Davao City’s popular tourist destinations). The Apo View Hotel is located right at the heart of the city.
Mindanaoan would like to thank fellow blogger Olan (bossing to many!). I will be in fab company when Kadayawan Festival kicks off this year! Watch out for my updates straight from Davao City 🙂
