As you guys may know by now, I am an official media partner of the All 4 One and Color Me Badd Live in CDO concert that's set to happen this Saturday, September 10, 2011 at the Atrium of Limketkai Center, Cagayan de Oro City, Mindanao. This means that apart from me being able to scream like a madman (I love, love, love Color Me Badd!) and watch the concert from (hopefully!) the front row, I also get the chance to meet and interview the boys this weekend! :D
So for fellow All 4 One and Color Me Badd fans - I'm giving you guys this chance to ask them anything via Mindanaoan.com! I'll make sure to ask your question/s during my day with these vocal superstars :) I'll also try my very best to ask for a couple of autographs and I might give some away through this blog :)

Most, if not all, of us know who Lola Techie is, yes? Lola Techie is that Internet-savvy grandma who we all admire. Check out this cute and funny video of her talking to her apo (and warning him that she'll "drop kick" him if he doesn't poke back LOL) over the Internet:
Here's a more recent video of Lola Techie standing her ground against Cherie Gil (first watched this during the 17th National PR Congress, which I attended):
Undoubtedly, Lola Techie has endeared herself to a lot of people all over the country. Why, she has a lot of fans (including me ;) ) I actually saw her during the 17th National Public Relations Congress but unfortunately didn't have the chance to talk to her or have a photo taken with her. But ah...I may have the chance to do so real soon ;)
The Make Your Own Havaianas 2010 Davao City, Mindanao leg is being held at the Gaisano Mall (GMall) along Bajada Avenue, Davao City. It started last September 16, 2010 and will end tomorrow, September 19, 2010.
I was able to visit the MYOH 2010 Davao event on the very first day and by the looks of it, the certified Havaianaticos in this side of the country came in full force!
The Davao City leg of Make Your Own Havaianas comes after the highly successful Make Your Own Havaianas 2010 Cagayan de Oro leg, which was held last August 2010 (Mindanaoan was there, too, of course, much thanks to our special friends over at Spruce).

My most favorite Philippine festival is right around the corner - Kadayawan Festival 2010 in my beautiful hometown Davao City, Mindanao! And what better way to kick things off than checking out the Kadayawan 2010 Fiesta at the Apo View Hotel?
The Apo View Hotel, one of Davao's finest hotels, again pays tribute to Davao’s artistic, cultural and historical heritage via the Kadayawan Fiesta Week:
The merriment, bounties of Mother Nature, richness of culture and gifts of bountiful harvest can be felt at The Apo View.
Hello, fellow Mindanaoans! Are you ready to flip-flop your way to a once-in-a-lifetime experience in Brazil? If you're a Havaianatico (i.e. a person who loves Havaianas and the Havaianas lifestyle) then do read on!
The answer to my earlier question better be a resounding YES as world-famous fashion brand Havaianas kicks off its new Happy Soles campaign for Havaianaticos 18 and above. This campaign celebrates the fact that Havaianas has been both a witness and a reminder of Filipinos’ happiest moments. A constant companion on everything from beach trips to food trips, Havaianas has trekked up mountains, walked down wedding aisles and danced under the pale moonlight. For many happy soles, Havaianas is a daily reminder of moments spent with friends and filled with laughter – moments that d...

One of the things I used to dream about when I was younger was to attend school abroad. I took my IELTS exam (I passed) and did research. I remember I already had a shortlist of the schools that I wanted to attend. However, times were tough, money was scarce. And the LIFE kicked in. My dream remains to be a dream.
Still, I'm not losing hope. One of these days, I'll attend at least a crash course on communications, new media or public relations. Good thing there are better opportunities now plus there are more scholarships available.
If you're like me and you have this dream of attending school abroad, why don't you attend this event in Davao City on November 18, 2009 from 5 to 9PM?
Admission is FREE and you can also register online. Various representatives from schools in Australi...

This post is the first for Mindanaoan's "Things To Do [in a particular Mindanao city or Mindanao province]" series.
