Boxing coach Freddie Roach: Manny Pacquiao is broke

Freddie Roach, the longtime coach of Filipino boxing champ and Sarangani Rep. Manny Pacquiao, shocked a lot of people when he allegedly said downright that the world boxing champion is broke. Yup, as in broke, wala nay kuwarta, no more money, wala nang pera. Freddie Roach's statement baffled a lot of people and not a few expressed their doubts. PacMan: Behind the Scenes with Manny Pacquiao

Many say that one will either extremely love or extremely hate this new biography about my fellow Mindanaoan, Manny Pacquiao. For fellow fans of the world's best pound for pound boxer and now Sarangani Mindanao congressman who haven't had the chance to read this new PacMan: Behind The Scenes With Manny Pacquiao book, I'm hoping that I will at least like it and not curse the book's author, Gary Andrew Poole. Because you see, while most of the "expert reviewers" say that this is a good read, many also say that it's poorly edited, contains unverified and even stupid material and reveals things about Pacquiao and the rest of Team Pacquiao that can, accordingly, "stain his good name." Fellow Mindanaoan and world boxing champ Manny Pacquiao is back on the cover of TIME magazine. An article about his rise, fame and everything else in between can also be found in this most recent TIME magazine article about this Filipino boxer and the best pound for pound boxer so far. Check out wifey Jinkee's name on his arm! :) Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao is set to face Puerto Rico's Miguel Cotto on November 14, 2009 at MGM Las Vegas, Nevada. If he wins, this will be Manny's 7th worth title in different weight classes. Which reminds me...where will you watch this Pacquiao vs Cotto fight? Mindanao pride Manny Pacquiao to star in “Wapakman”

All right, so I was in Cinema 3 of Gaisano Mall of Davao, waiting for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen to begin, when this movie trailer started rolling. I found it so damn funny! It turned out to be the movie teaser of Mindanaoan Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao's upcoming film entitled "Wapakman." And take note...Pacquiao will star in "Wapakman" alongside Pussycat Dolls lead Nicole Scherzinger and WWF's Batista! Of course, we all know that Scherzinger is part-Pinay and Batista is proud of his Filipino roots as well. Check out the teaser of Manny Pacquiao's "Wapakman" movie: The Pacman will start shooting this film next month, July. Topel Lee will direct. I'm curious, though...will this movie be shown in time for the 2010 national elections?
