The Department of Tourism Xl, along with other local tourism units around the Davao province, has launched the “1 Summerfun Davao” project. The “1 Summer Fun Davao – One Region. One For Fun” project aims to feature all the summer activities around Davao and package these as one.
Among the 1 Summerfun Davao activities are the Davao Wakeboard Championship, Davao Summer Kitefest, Pista Sa Kinaiyahan at the Municipal Hall of Mt. Apo, Davao del Sur, Cross Channel Fun Swim in the Island Garden City of Samal, 4th Earth Festival in Tagum City and the Beach Fest in Compostela Valley.
