It was a makeup workshop that I super wanted to attend but since I was still too tired from the big Singapore – Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia trip (yes, went back just a few days ago!), I just opted to ask for a recap and some photos from our friends over at Spruce. Apparently, I missed a great deal — the Suesh makeup workshop held recently in Cagayan de Oro City, Mindanao was a big success and all ladies who joined had first dibs of really cool Suesh products before these hit the Spruce store!
The guest speaker during the makeup workshop was Ms. Suzzane Tan Go, makeup artist and one of the owners of Suesh. During the workshop proper, two sets of makeup techniques were introduced – the day look and the night look. The day look highlights light makeup, the kind that people can use during work. It’s a very natural look. The night look, on the other hand, is great for night outs and parties. Suzzane also shared some skin care tips as well as tips on how to use various makeup tools and how to care for them. Suesh makeup brushes and its bristles are made from fine goat, pony and squirrel hair – all types of animal hair that are best for human skin when applying makeup.
