This is a follow up of sorts to my earlier post about Tsim Sha Tsui Ayala Terraces. Apart from ordering hakao, stewed beef and my favorite quail egg siomai, my brother and I also ordered Hainanese White Chicken. I was craving for Hainanese Chicken Rice that day and good thing they served that at TST:
My verdict?
The taste of the dish wasn’t remotely as similar as what I’ve had in other restaurants that serve Hainanese chicken. However, the white chicken was juicy plus the condiments (ginger sauce, chili sauce and a type of sauce that had green onions and soy sauce…nope, they didn’t serve the standard sesame sauce) were enough to spice the White Chicken Rice dish up somehow.
Tsim Sha Tsui is located at The Terraces, Ayala Center Cebu. It serves, quite obviously, Chinese cuisine.
