Mindanaoan is a huge cereal fan. You name it – I love it! Frosties, regular corn cereals, choco coated cereals…I love them all! I must admit, though…I’m not a regular breakfast eater (which I know is a bad thing because breakfast is the most important meal of the day…I’m really trying my best to eat breakfast as often as I can!) but you can be sure that I’ll be at the table (mas mabilis pa sa alas kuwatro!) if cereals and milk plus fruits or cookies are served.
So you could just imagine how happy I was when I first learned that the Philippines now has the first ever cereal cafe! Yup, you read that right. Cereal cafe!
Welcome to Cerealicious – the country’s first ever cafe that serves 30+ cereals, 40+ toppings and even gives you the chance to come up with your very own mix of cereals and toppings as well as with your choice of either fresh or low fat milk. Cerealicious also serves several pre-made “cereal blockbusters” that true blue cereal lovers would like.
Yesterday, I intentionally looked for the nearest Cerealicious branch and luckily, I found one in Megamall. For my first ever try, I chose “About A-hoy” – a delicious mix of choco puffs, choco bits/mini kisses and chocolate cookies! Super delish!
I also just found out that there’s a Cerealicious branch in Mindanao – in Davao City to be exact 🙂 You can find a Cerealicious booth inside the Ateneo de Davao University campus.
Check out the rest of Cerealicious’ menu here. I think I want to try the Cashewblanca or the Frootloose next time 🙂

Wifey and I like breakfast food too! Cerealicious is located in Ateneo de Davao Grade School. There’s also a similar food stall in Ateneo de Davao College called Cerealistix.
We wrote a piece on Cerealistix a few months back. Check it out here: http://www.davaobase.com/2009/07/cerealistix-gives-a-fresh-spin-on-breakfast-cereals
