26th Siargao International Surfing Festival returns after 2 years to support #BangonSiargao
The most-awaited Siargao International Surfing Festival is back after 2 years! Cong. Bingo Matugas continues to work with WSL, USPA, and the Mayor’s Office for the 26th Siargao International Surfing Festival from the 15th of October until the 21st of this year.
Since the pandemic started, the WSL, UPSA, and the participating government bodies have been planning for this event to help local surfers qualify for a spot in the 2023 World Surf League Challenger Series. But this year, it’s more than just that. The 2022 Siargao International Surfing Festival is a tribute to the people of Surigao who, while facing challenges beyond control, still show strength in spirit and continue to cultivate camaraderie in the community through surfing.
