CONFIRMED: Shopwise Cagayan de Oro to open this November

AND IT'S OFFICIAL, FOLKS! SHOPWISE, a member of the Rustan's Group of Companies (yes, the same owners of Rustan's Cagayan de Oro), is set to open this November 2013. Mindanaoan.com can exclusively confirm that Shopwise CDO will open on November 16, 2013, Saturday, at the East Wing Expansion of Lim Ket Kai Mall, Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro City. If you're familiar with the area where Starbucks Limketkai is (a.k.a. the main entrance of Limketkai Center), right across that is where Shopwise CDO will be. Guess who made quite a stir during the opening of Centrio Mall? No other than Brazilian model Daniel Matsunaga and host/model Rovilson Fernandez! The two gorgeous hunks caused so much stir that the boys later told this Mindanao lifestyle blogger that they had to do an "Amazing Race" kind of dodge and run just to make it through the sea of screaming fans. Daniel Matsunaga and Rovilson Fernandez were in town to do an autograph signing session at Planet Sports, located at the 2nd floor of Centrio Mall. So we all know that Centrio Ayala Mall is set to open on November 9, 2012. But you know what will make the opening of Centrio extra special? Centrio Ayala Mall CDO Set To Open On November 9, 2012

The long wait is finally over! Centrio Ayala Mall CDO is set to open on November 9, 2012 (Friday), 10 AM. Who's excited for the opening of Ayala Mall Centrio? This Php 4.5 Billion project is said to be the biggest mall in the region. Located at Corrales Avenue corner CM Recto Avenue (yep, right across Gaisano City and near Capitol University along Corrales Extension), Centrio Ayala Mall Cagayan de Oro will host roughly 200 brands including Coffee Dream, Spruce, Sperry, Rockport, Top-Sider, Etude House, Bigby's, Army Navy, Flawless, Lay Bare and Sbarro. A visit to Starbucks CDO – the first Starbucks in Mindanao

My mom, brother and I were in Cagayan de Oro City, Mindanao last weekend and since I still had 3 beverage coupons (yes, similar to those I gave away last December) from Starbucks (thank you Starbucks Philippines! :D) with me, we decided to use them at Starbucks Cagayan de Oro. Starbucks CDO is the first Starbucks in Mindanao. Dubbed as the 166th store in the Philippines, Starbucks CDO is located at Limketkai Mall corner Rosario Crescent. You can't miss it --- it's just a few steps away from the main entrance of Lim Ket Kai Mall in Cagayan de Oro. It was drizzling by the time we reached Starbucks CDO. It looks like Cagayan de Oro City is now, more than ever, THE next place to watch out for here in Mindanao. Ayala Land Inc. (ALI) is set to build the biggest mall in Mindanao - the Ayala Mall CDO - and is set to allot a total of P4.5 Billion for the said project. Ayala Mall CDO will be a shopping and recreation haven and will reportedly be right smack in the heart of the city. MINDANAO - It's that time of the year once again! Kasalan sa Kagay-an 2009, the Cagayan de Oro City Mindanao leg of the Kasalang Filipino series, is now underway...and guess what? My brother, who's a professional wedding photographer (just like his ate! hehe :D), graphic artist and caricaturist, is one of those who have flyers, leaflets and business cards displayed at the said wedding fair.
