One of the awaited Mindanao festivals this September is Diyandi, a month-long cultural celebration in Iligan City. Diyandi Festival 2013 is celebrated in honor of Iligan City's patron Saint Michael the Archangel. Diyandi Festival culminates every September 29 - this is St. Michael's feast day. Diyandi means "celebrate." And this year, there are lots of reasons to celebrate! I know what you're going to say. Festival na naman?! :D Yup, I told you! Mindanao is the place to be these days. Lots of Mindanao festivals happening at this time of year. As you guys may know, we just had the Kadayawan Festival in Davao City, the Kagay-an Festival in Cagayan de Oro City, the Tuna Festival in General Santos City and we also have the Bonok Bonok Festival in Surigao.
