Over the years, I’ve learned to shop not only because of the price of the item/s but also because of the quality of the said item/s. If in the past, I was willing to buy stuff because they’re cheap and affordable and “somehow look okay,” now I take into consideration the quality and the fact that the item may last for at least a few years. The item should also be a classic and not just something that you can wear because it’s part of the trend or fad. The item should also be easily paired with just about anything you can get from your closet.
Enter Marks and Spencer. It is one of the United Kingdom’s leading retailers. Each Marks and Spencer store sells clothing for men and women (and kids, too!), food, underwear, wine, shoes and even home and furniture stuff.
The prices of the items sold at Marks and Spencer are more expensive than those sold in local stores, yes, but one cannot deny the quality of their wares.
More often than not, I visit a Marks and Spencer store whenever I’m in SM Megamall, Greenbelt 5, SM The Block and yes, in Ayala Cebu. My favorite stuff to buy? Lingerie, underwear, knitwear (I love their cardigans!) and their ponchos. I also sneak in beauty products, too!
So you can just imagine how pleased I was when I was told that Marks and Spencer will soon open its first Mindanao branch. Marks and Spencer Cagayan de Oro will open in the next few weeks!
The Marks and Spencer CDO branch, which will be located at Limketkai Mall, will the 17th store in the country.
