I HAVE AN UPDATE about the opening of Yakimix CDO! I first tweeted about Yakimix CDO on our way to the sneak peek of The Nest, a new lifestyle and food hub along Corrales Avenue. We were at a stoplight and the huge “Soon To Open: Yakimix Cagayan de Oro” billboard was just a few steps away from me. Naturally, I took a photo for Twitter (follow Mindanaoan on Twitter) and another one for Snapchat (follow Mindanaoan on Snapchat)
A lot of people retweeted it, tagged their friends and asked me all about the opening date etc. Sorry, folks, I don’t know the exact opening date yet. Yakimix CDO opened last February 12, 2017 and Mindanaoan.com got invited! I have a video for you all. Check this out:

What I do know is that the sushi and smokeless grill / restaurant will be located at the Cagayan Town Center at Antonio Luna corner Vicente Roa Streets. A few steps away from Centrio Mall (Garden side or better known to locals as the Graphics store side – because, well, the main Graphics store is there), a few minutes away from Limketkai Center and near Gaisano Mall as well.
There are also a couple of affordable CDO hotels nearby and it’s also walking distance to Seda Centrio Hotel. You can actually see the Seda Hotel building right behind the billboard.
Yakimix Cagayan de Oro will be the third in Mindanao. They already have branches in Davao and General Santos City.
I often go to Yakimix Greenbelt in Makati. If you haven’t been to one yet, Yakimix offers eat-all-you-can packages for about Php 530++. No sharing, no leftovers and no takeout. You can grill your own food right there at your table.
Let’s see soon what the Yakimix CDO price points are. Stay tuned!
OKAY, NOW FOR THE UPDATE!
Yakimix Cagayan de Oro finally opened last February 12, 2017! The prices are: Php 499 for lunch and then Php 599 for dinner.
