Dahilayan Adventure Park in Bukidnon is at it again! After introducing Asia’s longest dual cable zipline, Dahilayan has now opened the Skytower Base Jump, the Philippines’ tallest parajump platform.
How high is the base jump tower? Oh, just 8 storeys high! Basejumpers will be fitted with safety harnesses and a helmet and will need to walk along a see-thru plank. Then, the moment of truth. Once you jump, you will experience free fall (pretty quick, don’t worry), then gradual descent and finally slow landing. All these in less than 10 seconds.
Check out these photos taken by Engr. Elpie Paras, the owner of Dahilayan and PARASAT Cable TV:
I’ve tried all of the rides at Dahilayan Adventure Park so I can really say that they’re all safe. All of the personnel are also courteous and knowledgeable. (Hi, Sir Ravi! :D) I can’t wait to try Skytower in the next few days – I’ll post all about my experience.
HERE’S WHAT HAPPENED WHEN I TRIED THE SKYJUMP!!! π
Sir Elpie says the introductory price for this thrilling basejump tower extreme adventure is only Php 400.00 per head. If you combine it with other rides at the park, just add Php 300.00 π
You know what else is amazing about this Skyjump? The fact that more and more investments are really coming in Northern Mindanao! We’ve all heard in the news that Cagayan de Oro has been declared one of the Most Competitive Cities in the Philippines and that Northern Mindanao’s business landscape is pretty bullish. Now we can really see!
Include the Skyjump in your travel plans! Don’t forget to experience white water rafting first at Cagayan de Oro – book with Great White Water Tours (sister company of Dahilayan Adventure Park). Only Great White rafting CDO offers the SAFEST and CHEAPEST raft + zipline (plus other park features) packages. I also highly recommend G Rafting CDO. Their packages include FREE photos, FREE videos taken with a GoPro, rafting, all ziplines at Dahilayan, Forrest Putt, Hanging Bridge etc. Check them out!

I wonder if I can handle this! Haha.
I ziplined in Dahilayan a few years ago. It’s a beautiful place! π
Hi Patricia! I’m sure you can do it! Less than 10 seconds lang naman π Something to scratch off our bucket list π
Isn’t this categorized as bungee jumping instead of base jumping?
Hi Emily! Thanks for dropping by π Maybe because there aren’t any harnesses by the feet? I’m just guessing, though π Will you try this soon? π
Oh my! 8 storeys high! I hope I have the guts to do this. I skipped the cliff jumping during my Bohol Trip. Will you try this soon, Ms. Irene?
Hi, Vic! Yes, planning to jump on my birthday (just a few days from now)! π Sama kaaaa
OMG! Now there is no reason for me not to visit Dahilayan anymore. Been trying to hold this off for years but now, I really got to go there and try this with my friends. It’s the closest I can get to experience bungee-jumping, right? #bucketlist ko yan!
Thanks for posting this, Irene. See you there soon!
Let me know if you’re visiting! π
