I just turned one of the bare and boring walls in our home into instant eye candy with the help of wall stickers! Yep, folks, wall stickers. I’ve been spotting a lot of Pinterest pins about wall decor stickers and I’ve been wondering where to get them locally when one of my favorite CDO boutiques, Spruce, sent me a set last Christmas 2014! Woohoo! At bilang it’s a new year and all, go go go na in decorating paandar!
The set I received had two sticker sheets. Each sticker sheet had “leaves” and “branches/stems.” Take note that the box I received had no instructions but it did have a sample of a suggested finished look (check out the face of the box). And so, armed with a pair of scissors, a dose of creativity and imagination plus my favorite Spotify playlist blasting in the background, off I went.
About 15 minutes later, I managed to come up with this:
At first glance, you’d think these were lines made with permanent markers, ano?
Anyway, I decided to just randomly place leaves here and there…aaaannnndddd…VOILA!
The entire thing is about a meter and a half wide. I’ve only used a little over half of ONE sticker sheet at that point! I plan to use the other sheet for the opposite side of the wall. That’ll be a project for me this weekend! Pretty stoked!
Do you also want to liven up a blank wall as well? Wall stickers can really do the trick! Visit the nearest Spruce branch in your area. In Cagayan de Oro, Spruce has branches at the G/F of Limketkai Mall (Rotunda area) and at the 2/F of Centrio Mall (Activity Center area). Spruce also has branches in Iligan and Valencia, Bukidnon.
