You can still help the thousands of victims of the deadly Typhoon Sendong (international name: Washi) by purchasing these HELP CDO and ONE FOR ILIGAN shirts! The proceeds will help feed 10 people. Some of the proceeds will also go to a charity organization.
My family, friends and I already bought several shirts last weekend and they’re of really good quality. The HELP CDO and ONE FOR ILIGAN shirts are priced at Php 180.00 (white) and Php 220.00 (black).
In Cagayan de Oro City, you may buy the shirts in Missy Bon Bon and Bigby’s Cafe (both located at Rosario Arcade, Limketkai Center). The HELP CDO and ONE FOR ILIGAN shirts will also be available in Cebu City soon. They will be sold in Bigby’s Cebu.
In Manila, the shirts will be sold on January 19, 2012 during a charity concert at the Flying V Arena in San Juan. The HELP CDO and ONE FOR ILIGAN t-shirts will also be available for sale during the Philippine Azkals versus South Korea game on January 21, 2012 at the Rizal Memorial Stadium. The t-shirt project leaders also say that these shirts will be available at Sandra Sports Fitness, 3rd Floor, Robinson’s Galleria.
Meanwhile, for those who are interested to buy these t-shirts online, please visit this page frequently or you can leave a comment below. I will meet the lead organizers of this t-shirt campaign real soon and we will discuss how we can sell these shirts online. If you leave a comment below, perhaps leave your desired shirt color, design and size, then I will mention this to the organizers and we can come up with a mechanism that will allow online purchase and delivery via courier 🙂
By the way, a charity basketball game was recently organized by Kiefer Ravena. The charity event was dubbed “Fastbreak” and it was for the benefit of Typhoon Sendong victims. Players included celebrities, professional basketball players, members of the media etc.
The two teams that played were the Smart-White and the Meralco-Red. Smart-White won 118-107.
