I must say, I’m so relieved that I found several Mindanawon congressmen in the list of representatives who have perfect attendance in the first 45 days of session.
These congressmen from Mindanao sure exemplified a good sense of public service. Hats off to all you, sirs!
Here are the various Mindanao congressmen who have perfect attendance in Congress (at least within the first 45 days of session):
Pedro Acharon Jr. (South Cotabato)
Erico Basilio Fabian (Zamboanga City)
Nur Jaafar (Tawi-Tawi)
Rufus Rodriguez (Cagayan de Oro)
Jesus Sacdalan (North Cotabato)
Raden Sakaluran (Sultan Kudarat)
Jose Ma. Zubiri III (Bukidnon)
These Mindanawan congressmen, along with 36 others, received a Parker ballpen as a token.
Their names were also reportedly announced in the chamber.
A total of 43 congressmen all over the Philippines have perfect attendance.
Special mention to Congressmen Sonny Belmonte, Edcel Lagman and Salvador Escudero III, too. These longtime politicians are also among the 43 who have perfect attendance.
The neophyte congressmen should follow their example.
And oh, just in case you’re curious, only Rep. Dato Arroyo has perfect attendance. His mother, former President and now Congresswoman Gloria Arroyo and his brother, Ang Galing Pinoy Rep. Mikey Arroyo, have absences.
WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ABOUT THIS?

Congratulations to them. It’s a manifestation that they are really serious in wanting to serve their constituents.
@Davao Delights – true. I agree. I will still, however, give the other Mindanaoan congressmen the benefit of the doubt. I just hope that during those days when they were not present in Congress, they were serving their constituents. I’d hate to think they were absent because of petty reasons.
