Globe 0917 Giveaway – Just share your Globe throwbacks and WIN!
I've been a Globe Telecom subscriber for decades! I remember my first phone was a humongous Nokia 10, subscribed to a Globe line. It was such a big deal to have a cellular phone at the time. Never mind if the phone only allowed me to type and view up to two lines of text. If you had a Globe line (I believe the subscription plan I had then was unlimited call and text to fellow Globe users), you were IN!
I can actually still recite my very first Globe number. It started with 0917. Then, when I moved to Globe prepaid a few years later, I had a different number but it still started with 0917. A few years after that, I acquired a new number (STILL 0917!) and retained that up to this day. I also have another line and it's still 0917. Needless to say, I'm a loyal Globe Telecom subscriber.
