Government agencies, telcos deserve praise for swift action in typhoon hit areas

But there are also days when you see great effort on the part of various government agencies and it is but right and fair to acknowledge them. Take the proactive actions of the government agencies and telecommunication agencies last month during super typhoon "Lawin," for instance. Thanks to their full blast restoration efforts, mobile phone subscribers were able to immediately reconnect with their loved ones in areas hit by the super typhoon.
