Twitter, Facebook, news websites and other social networking sites were abuzz with the news of the upcoming arrival of British football superstar David Beckham and the rest of his team Los Angeles Galaxy or LA Galaxy in the Philippines come December 3, 2011. David Beckham and LA Galaxy will be in Manila for a friendly match against the Philippine national football team Azkals. Great. Thanks to Folded and Hung, the images in my mind of Philippine National Football Team Azkals goalkeeper Neil Etheridge will no longer be the same. LOL. Twenty year old Neil Etheridge, that 6'3" handsome goalkeeper of the Azkals, is the newest endorser of Folded and Hung. Neil Etheridge, who has a Briton for a father (Martin) and a Filipina from Tarlac for a mother (Merlinda), is also a goalkeeper in Fulham, England. Just a little over a month ago, I had the chance to witness firsthand the super exciting and super charged Azkals versus Sri Lanka game at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium in Manila. Here's part two of the photos I took during the Azkals (Philippine football team) versus Sri Lanka Brave Reds game last July 3, 2011 at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium in Manila, Philippines. If you want to take a peek of the photos included in Part 1, please visit this link. I was indeed one of the very lucky ones that day who got to watch the Azkals clobber Sri Lanka 4 - 0! Although it rained for several minutes, it still did not dampen everyone's spirits. It was the day I've been waiting for. To finally watch our very own Philippine National Football Team AZKALS play against another team LIVE! It finally happened last July 3, 2011 at Rizal Memorial Football Stadium in Manila, Philippines. And I even had a Pilipinas Futbol Azkals shirt on to boot! Much, much thanks to my very generous sponsors, Malaysian Ambassador to the Philippines Dato Seri Dr. Ibrahim Saad and his lovely wife Datin Seri Dato Zainab Kader, I had a special front row seat to watch the Azkals play against the Sri Lanka Brave Reds. Just in case you're wondering, my ticket was worth a whopping Php 3,090.00! The day was truly memorable. One for the books!
