I remember when I won the Best Lifestyle Blog award in the 2010 Philippine Blog Awards and became a national finalist in the 2011 PBA. Those citations truly inspired me to help more people understand the power of blogging and social media.
In just a span of 2 years, I have organized a bloggers group, organized some blogging and mapping workshops, traveled to several areas in the Philippines to speak about social media, blogging and the Internet and was even sent to the United States of America under the International Visitor Leadership Program. With this recent win, I hope I can inspire more people especially the youth to blog and share their ideas and passions with the rest of the world.
