Hello, fellow BTS Army! Yes, I’m a proud and loud BTS Army! My ultimate bias is Kim Taehyung (I love you, V!) but ever since I watched Jimin in “Blood Sweat and Tears” and Jungkook in “Butter,” my heart has been subdivided 😀
Now for the uninitiated, BTS is a 7-member South Korean group that’s responsible for the mega hits “Dynamite,” “Boy In Luv” (my favorite!) and “Anpanman,” among many others. BTS Army, on the other hand, is the official fandom of the Bangtan boys.
A few days ago, McDonald’s launched The BTS Meal and of course, I had to get my share! The BTS Meal is composed of 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, medium fries and soft drinks. It’s actually the same McDonald’s Chicken McNuggets we all love but this time, you get two limited-time special sauces picked by BTS themselves – cajun and sweet chili sauces – and inspired by McDonald’s South Korea.
Check out my shirt! Isn’t it super cute? 🙂 I posted this on my Instagram!
Are you #TeamCajun or #TeamSweetChili? I actually love both sauces but I have to say, the cajun sauce is delish! The BTS Meal sweet chili sauce is reminiscent of gochujang or Korean red chili paste. The BTS Meal cajun sauce, on the other hand, is creamy with just a tiny hint of spiciness. The cajun sauce has vinegar, honey and dijon mustard. YUM!
The BTS Meal packaging is, of course, true to BTS branding. PURPLEEE! I purple you, BTS! I’m sure a lot of fellow BTS Army kept the meal components as “souvenirs.”
Anyways, here I am getting my BTS Meal! Please don’t forget to subscribe – thanks so much for your support!
Let me know your feedback about The BTS Meal! 🙂
By the way, I have several Korea-related posts. You might want to check out my Mindanaoan In Korea series 🙂
