LOOK: Seda Centrio Hotel CDO breakfast buffet

I don’t know about you but when it comes to hotels, I’m pretty particular about the food they serve especially during breakfast. I mean, who wouldn’t want to wake up to a delicious, glorious breakfast to help kickstart your day? Breakfasts help set the tone for the day! But because we’re now living in extraordinary times and we all have to be extra cautious of safety and hygiene measures, we can’t help but wonder how hotels adapt and still provide good food and service.

For Seda Centrio, a downtown Cagayan de Oro Hotel that features high-quality room and recreational facilities, they’re taking a very smart and efficient lead on how hotels can adapt to the new normal.

During the relaunch of their breakfast buffet service at Misto, the signature restaurant of Seda Centrio, they made me and other select guests experience first-hand their #SafeAtSeda protocols and how they continue to create that unique personalized service in a low-touch environment.

Aside from the mandatory wearing of face masks and face shields, diners need to sanitize their hands and wear disposable gloves when they enter the socially-distanced buffet area. Only a maximum of 6 diners can enter the said area and choose their food. Once they’ve finished choosing their food, diners then are requested to dispose of their gloves, take a seat and then only take their masks off when they start eating. If diners want to visit the buffet area again, they can easily request another set of gloves.

Yep, that’s how particular they are with health and safety protocols. No complaints on my end, though! I am all for it! Besides, I think complaining won’t be necessary if the food’s good, right?

Sooo…what’s my verdict about the food?
