Trans-Asia Shipping Lines and 2GO have resumed their boat trips. In the case of Trans-Asia, they have resumed their Cebu – Cagayan de Oro, Cagayan de Oro – Tagbilaran, Cebu – Ozamiz, and Cebu – Iligan trips. For 2GO, on the other hand, they now serve the Manila – Cagayan de Oro, Manila – Butuan, Manila – Iligan, Manila – Ozamiz, Manila – Zamboanga and a host of other routes.
Both shipping lines also only cater to Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs), Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and Authorized Persons Outside Residences (APORs). That means no leisure travels allowed. Both Trans-Asia and 2GO also require passengers to present pertinent documents.
