A few days ago, I got to try the new and improved weekend themed buffet over at Kave Restaurant, Limketkai Luxe Hotel, Cagayan de Oro’s luxury hotel. It was a superb lunch. How good? Let’s just say that Santa Claus had major belly competition that day LOL.
I also had a realization of sorts at the time (yep, satisfying lunches cause this sometimes!). That in order for you to fully enjoy the Limketkai Luxe Hotel CDO buffet more, you have to be with family, friends, colleagues and loved ones. Just like what happened when I went. I was with great friends whom I shared lively conversations with!

Anyway, the theme that Saturday I went was “Oriental Style.”
Here’s the Limketkai Hotel CDO buffet schedule: Every Friday (6PM to 10PM) – the theme is “Harvest of the Sea.” Every Saturday lunch time (11:30AM to 2PM) – “Oriental Style,” on the evening it’s “Mediterranean Flavors” (6PM to 10 PM). Meanwhile, the theme every Sunday lunch time is “All-Time Favorites” (11:30AM to 2PM).
Fee is Php 698 net per adult / Php 430 net per child. Kave Restaurant is just a few steps away from the lobby.
Of course, you just can’t skip on the shrimps!
They have lapu lapu! This one was cooked to perfection!
They had a carving station and a tempura station.
Oh, hi there, lovely massive plate of sushi and maki goodness!
And to make things a lot more interesting, they also have a “Make Your Own Halo Halo” station and a sorbetes cart! You can have all the sorbetes you want. I had my real good share of strawberry ice cream that day <3
