Here’s part two of the photos I took during the Azkals (Philippine football team) versus Sri Lanka Brave Reds game last July 3, 2011 at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium in Manila, Philippines. If you want to take a peek of the photos included in Part 1, please visit this link.
I was indeed one of the very lucky ones that day who got to watch the Azkals clobber Sri Lanka 4 – 0! Although it rained for several minutes, it still did not dampen everyone’s spirits. All of the Azkals fans (including me, of course! :D) screamed their lungs out, participated in the “crowd wave,” and had so much fun posing for the photographers who wanted to take photos of our happy, cheery faces 😀
By the way, I just learned that I was on TV that day haha 😀 Apparently, I was seated at the area where most of the “audience shots” were taken. Woohoo!!! 😀
Okay, enough of that…Here are the photos!!! (sorry for the poor quality of the photos, I merely used a Lumix digital camera. Spectators were not allowed to bring DSLRs 🙁 )
One of my favorite shots…when Azkals striker Phil Younghusband scored a goal!
Azkals rejoicing:
When Angel Guirado scored a goal!

An emotional Neil Etheridge:
Congratulations AZKALS!!!
