Okay, this is just too funny, cute and weird to pass up! So I was hanging out over at Twitter (because I’m a certified Twittaholic, as you guys may very well know) and saw some tweets about the arrival of pop sensation Justin Bieber in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for his Justin Bieber Live In Malaysia concert. I also read some tweets about the arrival of the girlfriend of Justin Bieber, fellow pop singer Selena Gomez, in Malaysia. There were also tweets about Joel Madden of Good Charlotte doing an impromptu song number with the Biebs onstage!
And then I read a tweet in Bahasa that got my attention: “Justin Bieber Saya “Hello Manila” Bengong, ini Malaysia bukan Filipina”
I asked the person for an English translation but other Twitter friends came to the rescue and sent me the translation: “Justin Bieber says “Hello Manila” Stupid, this is Malaysia not Manila.”
Apparently, Justin Bieber greeted Malaysian concertgoers “Hello, Manila” instead of “Hello, Malaysia” YIKES!!!
Well, I guess it’s understandable since the poor guy must be tired (and confused, apparently). I guess we should just give him the benefit of the doubt since he really is coming to Manila next month anyway. (Read my previous blog entry about the Justin Bieber Live In Manila concert.) Plus we should remember that he’s a protege of MY one and only Usher! (notice how I wrote MY in caps LOL) so let’s excuse the Biebs!
To all Justin Bieber fans in Malaysia, I hope you don’t get too peeved by what happened.
