The minute I saw this on my friend Edu‘s Plurk timeline, I just couldn’t help but laugh and be amazed at this sari-sari store owner’s ingenuity!
Bartolome Malacura, a sari-sari store owner in the Island Garden City of Samal (IGACOS), Davao del Norte, Mindanao, probably got fed up with debtors that he posted their names on the facade of his store!
As the caption states, the “shame campaign” paid off because from P2,000 (roughly $50.00), the collectibles are now down to P900 (roughly $23.00)
It’s probably not the preferred method of asking people to pay up but hey, it worked for Bartolome Malacura!
Hats off to you, sir! 😀
