Malasimbo Music and Arts Festival 2012 – Because things are better the second time around

Last February 18, 2011, Puerto Galera, Mindoro played host to thousands of people who came to celebrate music and art in paradise. The festival experienced excellent acoustics thanks to ECCP President and Malasimbo co-organizer Hubert d’Aboville, who generously provided his property, a natural amphitheatre overlooking the bay of Puerto Galera, which has been recognized since 1979 as a “Human Reserve of Man and Biosphere” (MAP program of UNESCO). Cagayan de Oro City, Mindanao is final stop of SMART Buddy Hot Summer Samahan

Northern Mindanao's main city, Cagayan de Oro, will once again play host to one of the legs of the SMART Buddy Hot Summer Samahan this year. Dubbed the “Barkada Roadtrip,” which is now on its 4th year, the SMART Buddy Hot Summer Samahan CDO activity will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2009. Various activities as well as a concert featuring local CDO talents, PBB celebrity Jon Avila and bands Kamikazee and Hale will take place.
