Meet the new Sony Bravia TVs powered by Android

I remember that my family’s very first TV set was a Sony. It served us really well. That TV set survived well into my early college years. That alone was testament to just how high the quality of Sony TVs were back then.

It’s no different these days. In fact, Sony has even taken things to a higher level in terms of sound and home entertainment technology.

Meet the new lineup of Sony Bravia TVs – the Sony Bravia 4K and Full HD televisions powered by Android. They’re all designed to provide the most immersive and high-resolution cinematic experience for customers. And because these new Sony Bravia units support Google’s latest Android TV operating system 5.0 or Lollipop, users can easily stream video, use it as a gaming device, access Google Play or transfer content from mobile devices.

The new Sony Bravia 4K TVs also come with the new 4K Processor X1 that provides advanced clarity, color accuracy and contrast.

This means – more breathtaking photo quality!

Mindanaoan was invited to the launch of these smart TVs. Guess where the very first launch in the entire Philippines was held? Right here in Cagayan de Oro! When I asked CJ Deacosta, Sony Bravia Marketing Officer, why that was, she said that CDO is their largest and strongest market. That was very interesting, if you ask me.

Also present at the launch were Alvin de Vera (BCC Head), Tetsutaka Suda (Sales Head) and Fe Du (owner of Desmark, Sony’s authorized distributor).

Visit any authorized Sony dealer nationwide and ask about this new lineup of Bravia TV sets especially the X9000C (my fave!). This one sports an ultra-slim design (measuring just 4.9mm thin, this one is even slimmer than a regular smartphone!) and offers the edge-to-edge viewing capability. It’s a stunner!

These new Sony Bravia TV sets will be available starting June 2015. For more information, visit the official Sony Philippines website.

In Cagayan de Oro, find them at the 3rd Floor, Ayala Centrio Mall, CM Recto Avenue.
